Chapter 2: Organize passwords
Manage your folders
Creating folders to organize your passwords is an essential step in effectively managing your Intuitive Password account. As you accumulate a growing number of passwords for various websites, applications, and services, it becomes increasingly challenging to keep track of them all. Without proper organization, searching for specific passwords or maintaining an overview of your accounts can become time-consuming and frustrating.
By creating folders, you gain the ability to categorize your passwords based on different criteria, such as personal, work-related, or specific projects. This allows you to maintain a structured system that reflects your unique needs and preferences. With well-organized folders, you can easily locate and manage your passwords, saving valuable time and reducing the risk of password-related complications.
Creating a folder
- Locate the "Categories" panel on the left-hand side of the screen. Within this panel, you will find a button labeled "Folder View". Click on this button to switch to the folder management view, which displays a list of folders instead of categories for managing your passwords.
- In the toolbar at the top of the folder list, you will see a "Plus" icon, click on this icon to create a new folder. A dialog box will appear, prompting you to enter a name for your new folder. Provide a descriptive and meaningful name to easily identify its purpose or content. Choose the location of the new folder by selecting either the "Root folder" option if you want to create a folder at the root level or the "Sub folder" option if you want to create a subfolder within a selected folder.

Moving a password item into a folder
