Chapter 2: Organize passwords
Restore data from history
If you have made changes to a password item in your Intuitive Password account and need to retrieve a previous version of that password item, you can utilize the password restore feature. This feature allows you to locate all the previous versions of password items that have been replaced by newer versions in your Intuitive Password account. These older versions are organized in a list according to the date they were changed. To access this list and restore a password item to a previous version, follow the steps below.
- From the passwords list, select the specific password item that you wish to restore. On the "View" tab of the selected password item, click the "Restore" button.
- A list of available previous versions of the password item will be displayed, organized by date and time. Choose the desired previous version of the password item from the list.
- Once you have selected the appropriate version, click the Restore button to initiate the restoration process. Intuitive Password will automatically create a restore point for the latest version of the password item before restoring it. This ensures that your data is preserved throughout the restoration process.
By following these steps, you can effectively restore password items to a previous version, granting you the flexibility and control to manage your account's data history with ease.
